Aurobindo Pharma is a knowledge driven company with strong R&D infrastructure to develop generic versions of state-of-the-art latest molecules/treatment options. Our R&D capabilities includes both active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and finished dose formulations (FDFs), thus being a reliable vertically integrated company for assuring uninterrupted global supplies.

Our Commitment

Our ARV journey started more than 2 decades ago, developing & manufacturing several ARV molecules over the years and have been consistently participating in global HIV programmes. Aurobindo Pharma has filed more than 38 ANDAs so far with USFDA.

Aurobindo Pharma was the first to develop generic Dolutegravir. Aurobindo Pharma has developed range of products including combinations and have several other molecules in pipeline for development and commerciallisation.eg. Tenofovir alafenamide, Cabotegravir long-acting injectable/tablet, Paediatric Abacavir/Lamivudine/Dolutegravir etc.

Aurobindo Pharma is one of the few suppliers who have invested in local manufacturing of TLD products in South Africa and have been manufacturing locally for the last four years.

Aurobindo Pharma’s commitment to pediatric HIV is demonstrated through uninterrupted supplies of pediatric solution like Abacavir, Nevirapine & Zidovudine to selected markets, where its still being used for PMTCT and other therapies.
