AUROBINDO'S PRODUCTS INCLUDED IN
WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO) PRE-QUALIFICATION LIST |

Aurobindo Pharma Limited is
pleased to announce that the World Health
Organization (WHO), Geneva, has included
Aurobindo’s three products in its
pre-qualification list. |
|
The WHO has included the
following tablets manufactured by Aurobindo in
its pre-qualification list: |

Zidovudine tablets, 300 mg
-
Lamivudine tablets, 150 mg &
-
Lamivudine tablets, 300 mg
|
|
All the three products form part
of Anti Retrovirals (ARVs), which help Aids/HIV
affected countries to provide cost effective
treatment. The global fund to fight AIDS,
Tuberculosis and Malaria disburses money for
medicines that have been pre-qualified by the
WHO process. Aurobindo is actively equipped to
participate in various programs, which
facilitate further growth. Apart from WHO
program, Aurobindo has also received approval
for five products under the PEPFAR program.
