APPROVAL FOR UNIT XII FACILITY |

Aurobindo achieves an important milestone by
obtaining UK MHRA approval for unit XII
facility. |

Medicines and Health
products Regulatory Agency, UK (UK MHRA) has
recommended UNIT XII formulations manufacturing
facility of Aurobindo as a site to manufacture
formulations for UK Market. Unit XII at
Hyderabad, India is one of the prestigious and
biggest manufacturing facilities for Aurobindo.

Unit - XII of Aurobindo Pharma Limited is
dedicated to manufacture High-end Betalactum
range of products. The total area is spread over
15228 Sq. Meters, with an built up area of 12180
Sq. Meters. The plant is capable of
manufacturing Dry powder injectables, Powder for
oral suspensions, Tablets and Capsules. |

Unit XII is also
approved by US FDA, South African MCC and
Brazilian ANVISA in addition holds ISO and
approvals from several other countries.
Aurobindo has filed several dossiers with
European authorities for its APIs and
formulations. Recently UK MHRA approved first
formulations of Aurobindo's Sertraline. After
the approval by UK MHRA for the formulation
facility, the voyage into regulated markets is
well established for Aurobindo. |
