AUROBINDO RECEIVES TENTATIVE
APPROVAL FOR LAMIVUDINE ORAL SOLUTION FROM US FDA |

We are pleased to inform that the US FDA has
granted tentative approval for Aurobindo’s
Lamivudine Oral solution 10 mg/ml. |
|
This approval by US FDA once again makes
Aurobindo to qualify under the President's
Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) program.
Apart from this approval, Aurobindo already has
7 product approvals under PEPFAR program. |

Aurobindo is proud to share that,
Lamivudine Oral solution 10 mg/ml is the first
generic version approval of Epivir oral solution
of Glaxosmithkline. |
|
Lamivudine is an antiviral drug called a
nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor or
NRTI. Lamivudine is used to treat infections due
to hepatitis B and human immunodeficiency virus
(HIV). When used to treat HIV, Lamivudine is
used in combination with other medicines for
HIV. |
