AUROBINDO
IMPLEMENTING ERP PACKAGE |
|
| Aurobindo has selected Oracle Applications for its ERP implementation. The
package has been selected to fulfill the needs of finance, distribution and manufacturing
activities of the Company. Aurobindo and its subsidiary Ranit Pharma are in the initial scope
of ERP. Satyam Computer Services (ERP Division) is the service provider. The project started
in July 2002 is to be completed in two phases. The
finance, purchasing, sales and related quality and stores activities are in first phase and
process manufacturing, quality control, plant maintenance and projects are in the second
phase. The plan is to complete both phases by end March 2003. Apart from core ERP,
additional areas like business intelligence, CRM (Customer Relation Management) modules,
analytical applications such as financial analyzer and sales analyzer will also be implemented
to fulfill the needs of the Company. |
