Aurobindo receives yet another approval in Citalopram Oral
Solution |

Aurobindo pharma ltd is highly
pleased to share that its product Citalopram
oral solution 10mg/5ml has bagged US FDA
approval. The Company already has approval of
Citalopram tablets of 10, 20, and 40mg strengths
in tablet form. |

Citalopram belongs to a class of medication
called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
Citalopram is indicated in the treatment of
depressive disorders. |

This approval opens an opportunity of over 4 mio
USD market additionally to Aurobindo. |
|
Citalopram is a generic equivalent of Forest
Laboratories’ Celexa.

With this Aurobindo has 30 of its products
approved by US FDA, inclusive of tentative
approvals. |
