Yet another ANDA approval from USFDA |

announce that the USFDA has approved its
product, “MELOXICAM 7.5mg and15mg
Tablets”.
Meloxicam is a NSAID (Non steroidal
anti-inflammatory and analgesic) normally used
to reduce pain, tenderness, swelling, fever and
stiffness of joints associated with arthritis
and various other conditions where inflammatory
component is involved. |

Aurobindo manufactures Meloxicam API and
Formulations. |

Meloxicam is effective in low therapeutic doses
in comparison to many other drugs of its class.
It belongs to Enolic acid group. Meloxicam is a
generic version of Mobic, a product of
“Boehringer Ingelheim”. Meloxicam is one of the
top selling molecules in its therapeutic group.
This approval enables Aurobindo to participate
in a market of over a billion USD. |
